@94, do you know if the UK will be effected? I'm unsure of how much of the GDPR is still present in our laws / what, if anything, you could theoretically get into hot water for.

I just have to get rid of it!
Every time I have to read this penetrating article title, I wish the author would be thrown down a very, very, very long flight of stairs!
@101
At this point I have no idea. That's a when I get a lawyer for this shit question. "fortunately" for some definition of that word I have to code the same things either way.
Sigh. Most of the replies that I got actualy ignored most of what I was trying to say, it doesn't matter though. I'd say a lot of things yet but I won't waste my time with people who can't see further than their nose. It doesn't apply to everyone here, and I won't even say names, but sometimes it's better to stay silent, you know.
I have no idea what you were trying to say. If that's true for les autres, then they weren't ignoring your points; they weren't picking up on them.
Basically, when I read your posts, it sounds more coherent than GPT3 trained on negative audiogames posts, but only just. It's like stream-of-consciousness, but with several steps left out.
I used to play the pokemon games by memorizing where things were and bumping into walls, etc, but I still needed help. I also used to beat every one of my sighted brothers at Tekken, Streetfighter, Soul Caliber, and the DBZ games, but when it came to non fighting games, it would suck to play.
Having played those mainstream games back then and then having played audiogames specifically made for us blind folk like A hero's call and manamon (which, yes, is over priced, but I have gotten many, many hours of replay value in the games), I can say that if this project does indeed get off the ground and it is a fantasy based game with the scope of WOW, I'll gladly pay X a month to play if I can be guaranteed that there will indeed be growth and addons. That's just me, though. I'm super competitive, and would rather play a game and be good at it against other blind players who are on the same playing field as I am, rather than muddle along against sighted players and be near the bottom of the proverbial totem pole. This is just like sports; it is why beep baseball players, no matter how good they are, won't actually make it to the major leagues. But their efforts and ability while out on the field should still be applauded and admired.
@106, GPT3 trained on negative audiogames posts is such an obviously bad idea, and now I can't get it out of my brain. Dammit. Lol.
@102 will SCP 087 be good?
*subscribes to novel AI so he can actually try this now*.
The true robot uprising has come...
Sorry to bring this back, but have any further decisions been made on this issue?
Sorry for the confusion JayJay. We updated the discipline action but hadn't updated this topic since it had die down at that point.
His ban was made indefinite as of February 2nd in light of the severity of his actions, along with the fact that he tried to cover it up.
good, he diserves a ban
that is great to see
Just jumping in because I'm pretty sure that one of those "three" people who "knows what they're talking about" is me (obviously without actually name-dropping). I certainly don't have the experience Camlorn has, I'll freely admit that. Shit, I'm only 22. Our paths may cross or they may not, and frankly I'm not going to speculate on the future. I certainly don't expect blind loyalty from anyone; hell, I'd most likely despise that more than anything else because blind loyalty is an incredibly dangerous thing, and it results in people never questioning you about your decisions or words. But I'd like to think that despite all the mistakes I've made over the years, I've at least proven that I know what I'm talking about. I'm not perfect, obviously, and Camlorn and I have had debates on topics in the past where we've corrected one another (though its more of him correcting me and not the other way around). But I'd at least like to think that, despite my faults, I am reasonably knowledgeable regarding those subjects I hold interests in, including programming/game development/OS dev/etc. If 83 would like to prove to all of us that I don't, in fact, know what I'm talking about, I'd like to see it, because I've yet to see actual proof. In other words, I've seen a lot more bark than I have bite.
@Jack, that's good to hear. My bad for not checking the discipline topic
