Subject says it all. I'm looking into trying it, but I want thoughts on it first.

Power is not the responsibility of freedom, but it is actually the responsibility of being responsible, it's self, because someone who is irresponsible is enslaved by their own weaknesses.

I mean, you can try it for free, so why not try it and let us know? Do your own damn research.

@2, that was a little bit harsh, don't you think? Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I have tried Novel AI and I'm honestly not seeing a difference between this and text sinth. Definintley not something I would use, and that goes with most text generators.

Well I gave it a try and the paid models are far better than Text Synth and the fact that you can make and train your own sets is worth the 10 bucks alone. I'm enjoying it and I'll be using it to help my writing process.

Novel AI is perfectly accessible, even though it's more expensive than AI dungeon. The advantage to Aid though is that you can use the model with different training data, which is pretty awesome. There's training modules for the diskworld series, Harry Potter, Sherlok holmes and a bunch of other stuff, as well as nsfw modules if you knoe where to look. But the price kinda drives me away so that's why I'm sticking with Aid for now. Also Novel AI boasts that it never reads what you generate, which Aid freely admits to doing, at least if their filter is tripped. That can be disconcerting for some, especially considering that the main point of the filter is blocking specifically nsfw content that violates Open AI's policy like pedophilia. This means that the filter triggers most easily when writing nsfw content, even if it doesn't have anything harmful in it.

Again, this topic proves the laziness of some people, specifically @2. Other people answered while @2 had to be harsh. Meh. Anyway, back to the topic, yes, it's definitely accessible, however I feel it's not worth it considering it's paid. There are other generators that can do the same completely for free.

Yeah, if you don't mind having to stick with the training data Latitude uses, a lot of which is based on places like choose your story that has some frankly terrible stuff in it, stick with Aid. I personally am subscribed to it because I really like what Dragon does sometimes, but I heard from free users that Griffin is perfectly usable if you know what you're doing with things like World Info and the memmory prompt.

I like both Novelai and HoloAI. I'm interested in the development of AID but stopped using it.

Yeah, it's fine. I's just too impatient / lazy / whatever to make effective use of it, since it's much more of a tool with lots of parts than AIDungeon's "just mash go" sort of setup.
... If you're too lazy to ask an AI to writea story for you, ask your doctor about lazex. Side-effects may include nausea, drowsiness, insomnia, hypersomnia, inattentiveness, diarrhea, vometing, and itchy nose. Do not take lazex if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients.
I'm still paying for a scroll subscription, so I really should use it.
