@126 glad to be able to find the link for you
well, so just tried setting up two speech synths to switch language and its just a fiddly thing to do ... too fiddly in fact, because notifications are also read using the second engine. i also have this thing when I lock the screen it just announces the time every so often, which gets annoying pretty fast. So yeah it kinda has potential but that's it.
@128, perhaps you have the timer turned on? Jieshuo never speaks anything when I have the screen locked, unless I told it to.
Hey guys. I hope everyone is doing well in this boring quarantine. well, i wanted to know how i make the commentari screen reader read the subtitles on youtube? is that I'm in the mood to watch douluo daluo, a chinese animation that is subtitled. ps. I use YouTube through Chrome, I kind of don't like the YouTube app. I think the ads appear more through the app than through chrome.
@130 I get just as many adds on the computer
Hello, I would like to ask Commentary Screen Reader between the Version in Telegram with the Paymentversion. What's different?
You have to get a script to easily dismiss notifications because somehow that's not in CSR's actions menu because why not. Granted, its ability to be extended is nice, but whether devs flock to it and make extensions is up to them. Also a lot of the sound schemes are copies of one another, and even more have sounds that are too long, like the Mortal Kombat theme.
@134 actually you can use it with your phone via the terminal and braille back. The screen reader on the touch is different because it does have other features such as direct touch typing with braille and navigating Keysoft like the older notetakers allowed you to do.
If I was going to get a android based tablet that would be my first option. the only time I would need to use braille with my phone is to type a lot and read a lot of text messages in private even with other people in the same room
