Hi all,

I managed to get my elgato hd60 s up and running and i already created several video's for my dutch youtube channel. But i am looking for a solution to also capture my webcam. So in the top right my face will be visible as well while playing the game.

How can i achieve this in the obs settings?

I'll await your replies.

you just ad your webcam as a source above the elgato, then set it to the top left or right, then click start recording and there ya go.

I don't know about that, but you can stream and record in OBS at the same time, which is what I do when I wanna edit the stream and make funny moments

Hi,

Thank you guys. I was able to edit the webcam screen on the left top corner of my screen to a acceptable size and everything works just fine. The only trouble i am running into is lowering the audio of my nintendo switch smile My game audio is to high to my liking, but the webcam issue seems to be solved smile

You can lower the audio of the video capture device by tabbing past the start recording options, then you'll find a volume mixer thing, you can lower the volume from there.

Thank you, i asumed this to work this way indeed, but given the later time yesterday evening i decided to stop my tests. Glad to learn it works this way smile

Only one last, probably silly question, but when recording through obs,and when i want to make certain my webcam works as well as the gamecapture. Do i have to select both the webcam source and the elgato source in the list with sources for this to work properly? Or can i just tab past all the elements on the screen and hit the record button right away?

you don't need to select any source to have them be recorded. As long as they are on, which they will be at default your set.

How do I set/change the size of sources being totally blind? Unfortunately game capture doesn't work with Prepar3D, so I have to make a window capture for it instead and don't kknow how to resize it to something where people can see it.
